All veneers used to make our lights are made from sustainably sourced wood. The veneers are sanded to a thickness of 0.35–0.55 mm, laminated with a fleece that prevents cracking and varnished on both sides with environmentally friendly varnishes.
All metal parts are powder coated with fine-structure paints. The ceiling rosettes and bases of the table and floor lamps are available in white and black.
For hanging lights, you can choose between textile cables in different colours. Each light is supplied with a matching LED bulb with a light colour of 2700 / 3000 K and an E27 thread.
We do not use plastic materials for packaging. All packaging is fully recyclable.
Each lamp is made to order and ships in 2–3 weeks.
Blom takes its name from the bloom it resembles. Sections of veneer are held together with copper tape, which stays visible: a construction detail left honest rather than hidden, and the one place in the collection where metal is part of the pattern instead of the fitting.
It is a smaller, more delicate piece than the cones and globes. It hangs calmly above the dining table, inviting you to sit down and take a break.
