Carefully selected Slovenian veneer

The character of each Sence lamp begins with carefully selected wood veneer, sourced from Slovenia and Croatia. We choose each sheet for its natural beauty, paying close attention to the grain and avoiding areas with too many knots. Sanded to a thickness of 0.35–0.55 mm and finished with a protective lacquer, the veneer is rolled up and ready to be shaped into light.

No two sheets are ever quite the same. Even within a single roll, the colours and grain patterns can vary, shifting from subtle tones to more distinctive markings.

Beneath the delicate wooden shade lies a carefully crafted metal structure, designed to bring balance, stability, and simplicity to the form. The bases are weighted to keep each lamp steady, while the slender stems create a clean, understated silhouette.

The table lamp stands approximately 47 cm tall, with a 25 cm base, while the floor lamp reaches around 147 cm, supported by a 36 cm base. The ceiling canopy, measuring 12 cm in diameter, completes the pendant version with the same minimal approach.

Each metal component is finished with a durable powder coating in black or white, creating a smooth, refined surface that complements the natural texture of the wood veneer.

A touch of colour brings another dimension to the design. Our textile-covered cables are available in a wide range of colours, allowing each lamp to be tailored to its surroundings, whether you prefer a quiet, understated look or a more distinctive accent.

The pendant and floor lamps come with a 2.5 m cable, while the table lamp includes a 1.5 m cable.
