Terms of sale
PDF (in Slovenian)These terms govern the purchase of Sence products from www.sence-luci.si, operated by Kubus interier d.o.o. (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Products
Sence lamps are handcrafted to order from natural wood veneer. Because each lamp is individually made, slight variations in grain, tone and finish are natural and are not defects. Product images are illustrative.
2. Orders & prices
All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and are inclusive of VAT. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before payment. A contract of sale is formed when we confirm your order by e-mail.
3. Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of order via our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details. Orders enter production once payment is confirmed.
4. Production & delivery
As made-to-order items, lamps typically ship within 2–3 weeks. We deliver to Slovenia and the European Union. Risk passes to you on delivery. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
5. Right of withdrawal
Because Sence lamps are made to your specification, the 14-day right of withdrawal generally does not apply, where the statutory conditions for the exception are met (see Right of withdrawal below). This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods.
6. Faulty or damaged goods
If your lamp arrives damaged or faulty, contact us at infosence-luci.si within a reasonable period and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Lamps must be installed and used in accordance with any provided guidance and applicable electrical regulations.
Right of withdrawal

Sence lamps are manufactured to your individual specification: the veneer, size and configuration you select. Because the product is made according to your selected specifications, the 14-day right of withdrawal generally does not apply, where the statutory conditions for the exception applicable to goods made to the consumer’s specifications are met (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act, ZVPot).
You can review your configuration once more before placing your order and make any necessary changes.
What this does not affect
This does not limit your statutory rights if a product is damaged, does not conform to your order, or has a defect. In those cases contact us at infosence-luci.si and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
Standard (non-custom) items
Where we sell a standard, non-personalised item, the usual 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the day you receive the goods.
Returns & withdrawal form
Where the right of withdrawal applies, you can use our withdrawal form: print it or save it as a PDF, fill it in and send it to us. Using the form is not mandatory: any other unequivocal statement sent to orderssence-luci.si is equally valid.
After notifying us, send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days to: Kubus interier d.o.o., Rimska cesta 23, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer, unless the applicable terms or the law provide otherwise.
Privacy policy
Kubus interier d.o.o. is the data controller for personal data collected via www.sence-luci.si. This explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR.
What we collect
- Contact & order details: name, e-mail, phone, shipping and billing address.
- Order information: products, configuration, amounts and order history.
- Payment: processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and the last card digits, never full card numbers.
- Newsletter: if you opt in at checkout, your name and e-mail address, kept until you unsubscribe.
- Technical data: basic logs and essential cookies needed to run the site and checkout.
- Visit statistics: anonymous, cookieless counts of page views and of steps such as adding to the bag or starting checkout (Vercel Web Analytics). They identify no one and are not used for advertising.
Why we use it
- To process and fulfil your order and provide customer support (performance of a contract).
- To send transactional e-mails such as confirmations and shipping updates.
- To send our newsletter, only if you opted in (consent), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.: Payment processing (privacy policy).
- Resend: Transactional email delivery (privacy policy).
- Sanity.io: Content & order data storage (privacy policy).
- Vercel Inc.: Website hosting and cookieless visit statistics (privacy policy).
Retention
We keep order and invoicing records for as long as required by Slovenian tax and accounting law, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, e-mail infosence-luci.si. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).
